I, the Supreme

  • For Wikipedia:WikiProject Murder Madness and Mayhem: Each Group Member Should Sign up for Sections they will take responsibility for. This is the only way for us to split the work efficiently and at least get the Article up for GA review ASAP. I suggest that by next Thursday's class (March 13, 2008), we get to that point. To Discuss, sign up for sections, and so on, go to Supreme To Do List below. ( Powars ( talk) 03:15, 7 March 2008 (UTC)) reply
  • Complete a Plot Summary, no more than say 5-600 words.
This still needs doing, though it has advanced (as has the rest of the novel). -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Gather References and make sure all content is referenced...properly
Again, the referencing has come on in leaps and bounds, mainly thanks to Kn310376, but more could be done. -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Develop a Themes section, keeping in mind that claims to any themes must come from secondary sources.
Again, yup. You have a lot now on "language and power," which is surely important. But more is needed, and perhaps that subsection could be divided? -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Decide on a consistent title for the novel: "I, The Supreme" or "I the Supreme"?
Kn310376 and I suggest "the Supreme" to describe the character. And the page is I, the Supreme, so that format should be kept. (Except in quotations, of course.) -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Develop a PUBLICATION/S (DETAILS?/Dates?/Versions/Translations?) section: list multiple dates and translated versions
Sounds good, but not necessarily a priority. -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
I don't think we need this. -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Create Publication and Context Sections ie when and why the book was written; we need to explain why it's notable enough to be included in an encyclopedia
This has been started, and needs to be expanded. -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Create Reception details section: of how the book was received including any awards etc
This has been started, and needs to be expanded. -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Maybe a (very brief) section on the author, Augusto Roa Bastos, linking to his main article: Augusto Roa Bastos
I'm not sure this is necessary either. At least not a separate section. -- jbmurray ( talk| contribs) 02:58, 17 March 2008 (UTC) reply
