This page needs a lot of work, there are heaps more hybrid cars available in Australia now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.176.109.242 ( talk) 07:13, 1 July 2015 (UTC) reply

Proposed removal of hybrid cars (HEV) from this page and renaming of page to "Electric Vehicles in Australia"

As there are so many hybrid cars in Australia now (Sept 2017) and this page is missing many of them, coupled with the fact that as far as driver facing functionality they are identical to fuel efficient petrol cars. I propose we rename this page to "Electric Vehicles in Australia" (or something similar) and remove all the hybrid electric vehicles (HEV). Since there are less of them and they share many attributes with the full electric vehicles i propose we keep the plug in hybrids (PHEV) but if nothing else i think the HEV's should be on a separate page. I don't want to do this single handedly since many people have worked on this page and I think it's better if they have the opportunity for input so I will not be doing this myself unless at least 5 other people agree here. Although since i have no interest myself in a HEV in Australia page if I do do it I will just be deleting them from the list. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.240.242.65 ( talk) 18:39, 7 September 2017 (UTC) reply
