Solid article. All that's really needed is a better intro. Jdorje 21:52, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
This article will be put on hold (for 7 days) until these minor adjustments can be made :

Here's a website describing the tornadoes from Audrey in Alabama (in a list of June tornadoes). It has some good stats that should be added. Hurricanehink ( talk) 23:37, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
As part of the WikiProject Good Articles, we're doing sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria. I'm specifically going over all of the "Meteorology and atmospheric sciences" articles. I believe the article currently meets the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. I have made several minor corrections throughout the article. Altogether the article is well-written and is still in great shape after its passing in 2006. Continue to improve the article making sure all new information is properly sourced and neutral. It would be beneficial to go through the article and update all of the access dates of the inline citations and fix any dead links. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I have updated the article history to reflect this review. Happy editing! -- Nehrams2020 ( talk) 07:33, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
A few of the references were dead, and others were not from primary sources. The references have now been "upgraded" and filled out with information which would be needed in a GAN passage nowadays. Thegreatdr ( talk) 22:27, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
In a paragraph about earliest category 4/5 occurrence in the basin, there is a line that states that 2nd place goes to Dennis, but that the record was "rebroken" nine days later. That can't be right. Did the author mean that both Dennis and Emily were other category 4/5 systems which formed before August 1? I'm not sure the Emily line even needs to be there. Thoughts? Thegreatdr ( talk) 03:18, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
This article lists 147 million as the total damage amount for Audrey, however based on the 1996 edition of The Deadliest, Costliest, and Most Intense United States Tropical Cyclones list i have a damage amount of 150 million. Can we find the discrepency and deal with it please? Also note that if i am reading the Canada section correctly we have to increase the death toll by 15. Thanks. After some off-wiki discussion with other WP:WPTC members, I am delisting this article from GA status. It was originally promoted in 2006 when GA standards were considerably lower. A cursory review of this article shows glaring gaps in coverage, with no impact in the hardest-hit state (Louisiana) even present in the body of the article. The amount of effort necessary to bring this up to snuff is beyond the scope of a GAR, thus we've agreed to demote the article so other users are aware of the lacking quality. ~ Cyclonebiskit ( chat) 17:39, 13 May 2017 (UTC)

@ TheAustinMan: - is this article ready for GAN? It's technically part of the 1957 AHS good topic, so this article is all that's missing for it to remain a good topic. If you don't have the time or interest to take care of the GA review, please let me know. ♫ Hurricanehink ( talk) 16:02, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

Hello TAM! I will be reviewing this article tonight-- 12george1 ( talk) 03:40, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
Good work on the effort to bring this former GA back to Good Article status. It is nearly back to GA, with only minor problems standing in the way.-- 12george1 ( talk) 03:40, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
