My first Wikipedia article

Dear all fellow Wikipedia editors

As an avid user of Wikipedia, I decided to make my first article on my father, Sir Horace Heyman, for reasons that should become apparent to those who read the article.

I assume that you have access to my Sandbox, as over the last 3 days I have been writing and revising the article. What I do not understand is how and when the article is reviewed by other editors and, finally, approved for publication.

Could any of you please advise me?

Best regards

Ipandro Acaico You have submitted it, and in time a Reviewer will make a decision: Accepted, Declined (giving reasons) or Rejected (declined because there is no potential for it to become an accepted article). There are hundreds of drafts waiting for a Reviewer. The system is not a queue, so could be as short as a day or as long as weeks, even months. Horace William Heyman

At the suggestion of the editors I added two categories to the page on this person, who was a pìoneer in the electric vehicle industry.

The (obvious) categories are Electric Engineering and Electric Vehicles, and I do not understand why not.

I would like to add History of Transport and UK Industry, but I fear that none of these exist.

By the way, I have been unable to find a list of existing categories by using the tools offered on the multiple Wiki websites.

I would be grateful fo help on this matter
