Is this even true or real? How is it different from the simple Present tense? What language does this even apply to? Why aren't there examples? A shining example of fine Wikipedia craftsmanship.

Good point. I've done some rummaging and found a few languages that have, or at various points in their historical development had, hodiernal tenses. Think about the difference between past, pluperfect, etc. DS ( talk) 13:51, 24 September 2010 (UTC) reply
