I've been trying to figure out where this happened. The crossings between Henneman and Kroonstad all appear to be viaducts, not grade crossings. Does anyone have a better idea of where this happened? Abductive (

This is a passenger train, with passenger carriages, yes? Was there a large amount of luggage in said carriages holding flammable or explosive materials? This confuses me.

Right, thank you. Can this be added to the article for clarity? Wording it in a way that indicates it is only guesswork at this time. It can be changed later if it's wrong. Edit: For instance, It is possible but not confirmed that the carriages caught fire due to overhead electrical wires broken by the crash.DesertPipeline (

The direct cause of fire might have been the overhead, but it must have also been some flammable stuff there to catch fire, wouldn't it? What about the fuel for the diesel engine?
