This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the animals stated within the article are not pets but commercial animals from the oldest family run Hereford Cattle Herd in the world. This history and article is of great intrest to followers of the herd, breed and cattle lovers. Thankyou for letting me explain. — Lewis thehaven ( talk) 20:07, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
We have a potential problem. The article refers to Woodhouse Dowager 6th as being probably the cornerstone of the US breed, but this, at p. 119 says it was an animal called Anxiety 4th. The year is the same (1881) but since we're talking a different name then might we also be talking a different herd? - Sitush ( talk) 12:51, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Woodhouse Dowager 6th was a female and Anxiety 4th was a bull which I think clears the issue. Lewisthehaven — Preceding

Dowager spread her genetics across North America, with stock bulls going to herds and then these breeding, probably with the Anxiety blood line as well! regards lewisthehaven
