Just wanted to make a note because it's been stated in several places, by both stars of the film, that the title is not "... go to Amsterdam". One example is here.
The MTV source cited doesn't seem to support the change in this article's title from Untitled Harold & Kumar Sequel to Harold & Kumar End Up in Gitmo. Should the title change be reverted? Is there another source that is more explicit about how the movie will ultimately be titled? — Hiplibrarianship 05:56, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
The release date is Feburary 8, both the refrences there say it is so don't change it back to april 4! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.9.145.225 ( talk) 19:23, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Australia - Hey guys, just added the release date for Australia, I myself wanted to know, so i turned to the awesomeness of wiki and found to my shock that it wasn't here. So i scouted around and found it, so i think i should put the sources here:

As much as I loved the first movie (and i'm sure this one will be fucking incredible), it seems like there are only positive reviews. Maybe there aren't many negative reviews, and the critics certainly seem to like it, but there has to be one. Also, the format of the reviews' placement in this article isn't very formal. Could we rewrite it in some way? -- George The Man ( talk) 20:17, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
I don't know about you guys, but shouldn't the plot be removed? I mean, we don't even have a source for it. Ruthless Xero ( talk) 04:19, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Well after seeing the various trailers of it...guessing Mr. Spock ^^ 87.185.123.122 ( talk) 20:06, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Nah, leave the plot. It's correct, and we aren't likely to find such a good review anytime soon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.167.188.19 ( talk) 06:33, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Where's a source for that budget? This movie looks even bigger than the first and the first movie's budget was $9M. I'd estimate more like six-teen million dollars. ChesterG ( talk) 03:59, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Can any source confirm that their given names are "Manny" and "Chevitz"? I believe it is a mere referential joke about their Jewish ancestry ( Manischewitz being an iconic Jewish wine). -- ~Magnolia Fen ( talk) 00:40, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
I have only read that they plan on making it, if they can get the funds to do so. Nowhere have I read that it's been greenlighted, and currently in production.
They confirmed it on Comic Con and G4's The Feed —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.175.138.232 ( talk) 01:30, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

When does the song play in the movie? I'm not arguing it or anything just curious. Is it at the KKK bonfire? Disturbedfan24 ( talk) 02:06, 23 August 2008 (UTC)
I couldn't help but notice that a lot of the plot details are missing... like that cock sandwhich....
Elbutler ( talk) 16:57, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
No, but seriously... there is a lot missing. Like the whole trip of them to Texas. Then when Neil Patrick Harris arrives, then later dies. Nothing is even mentioned about the idiot security agent... etc, etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.11.104.83 ( talk) 04:46, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
This is a small note, but when Harold and Kumar are in Neil Patrick Harris's car, and they are looking through his bag, they find a slipknot mask for Chris Fehn. why isn't that mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.20.72.172 ( talk) 00:57, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
Semi-protection? Wilkos ( talk) 19:50, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Clearly not B class level, and due to the lack of coverage of the production phase it's not really 'C' class either. There is no coverage of the development phase including the casting, or the filming or the post-production. A 'C' class article should serve as a sufficient article in its own right, and while it allows for gaps in the coverage it shouldn't be misisng entire sections, so I'm demoting it to "Start" class. If you add a "production" section and want the article reassessed unstrike your request. Betty Logan (talk) 05:56, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

I don't see how this film or any others in the series should not be included in the category Indian-American films, or at the very least the category of Asian-American films.
Among the deciding characteristics for Asian-American films is: dealing with Asian American history, issues, community or identity. Which this film (and others in the series) certainly does. The series covers the stories of two archetypal, second-generation Asian-American types. Easily, this is one of the subsets of the Asian-American community which gets some of the most lip-service as a "model minority". It deals with issues that these so called "model minorities" and other Asian-Americans face. EX: the very basis of this film in particular is racial profiling: Kumar being mistaken for a member of Al-Qaeda due to his race and Harold being mistaken for a North-Korean terrorist for the same reason.
Among the deciding characteristics for Indian-American films is: American films starring a majority Indian-origin cast. Kumar is half of the main cast of the film and is portrayed by Kal Penn, who is of Indian origin. Beyond this, there are a handful of other Indian-American characters in the supporting cast: Kumar's parents and his friend Raza.
On top of all of this, the films are already under the category of films dealing with race and ethnicity. Clearly, the film deals with the race/ethnicity of characters who are Indian-American and Asian-American.
Considering all of this, I have decided to add this film in particular under the category Asian-American films (rather than Indian-American films) as this is a broader category which should capture this film more easily. If you have a problem with this, let me know why you decided to undo my edit with more than "nope"
Thanks.
