I added some material from the "Radio Netherlands" page. BTW, there may have been seperate English and Spanish versions, but I clearly remember listening to the shows with Tom Meyer switching back and forth between English, Spanish, and Dutch that I listened to in the '70s. (I never did learn any Dutch from it though, unfortunately.) That was my favorite show. -- Infrogmation 15:32, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
I note that the first external link spells the last name of the show's second host as "Meyer", while on the second we see "Meijer". Anyone have a definitive word on this? -- Infrogmation 16:01, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

It was perhaps in 1966 or 1967 that I first heard Eddie's voice on 6+++kHz on an old Bakelite cased 'Ekco' valve radio that my late father & I managed to coax back into life. Many years later, awoken by the sound of the 'Carillon' interval signal, my Sunday morning was still enlightened by Tom Meijer and his eclectic mix of music and news, although I'm not sure I was a great fan of Tom's singing voice! A silent figure in the background during Tom's stewardship of the programme was 'Happy Station Jean' (Van Veen?) I would like to see more references within these pages to the background staff who contributed to the success and popularity of this programme over the years. 79Thatcherite ( talk) 01:15, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
