It seems very clear, the KHL stated that explicitly several times, the Lev Poprad and Lev Praha are not the same franchise. It is therefore not correct to include the list of franchise scoring leaders from the Poprad team. Wild8oar ( talk) 14:21, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
I noticed that someone put LevPraha.cz as offical web site. However, for me that is still an inactive web site ("Default page ACTIVE 24"). Where does that information come from? Wild8oar ( talk) 14:23, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
In the roster there are 4 players which already played for Lev Poprad. They are listed as "acquired in 2011". However, I would argue that they have been transferred to Lev Praha just like from any other team and should be listed as "acquired in 2012" to be consistent with the notion that the 2 teams are distinct organizations. The official website is finally online. It can be found at levpraha.cz or hclev.cz -- IJK_Principle ( talk) 05:14, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Now that we have the official website online, there is also the official name given: HC LEV Praha [1]. So we can finally discuss the naming of this and related articles. I think the question consists of three parts:
Summary: my vote is for Lev Praha, with HC Lev redirecting to this article. The roster template should then be called Lev Praha roster and the HC Lev (2010–12) article could be moved to Lev Poprad to make it easier and consistent. Wild8oar ( talk) 07:42, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Gentlemen, there is a mistake in your thinking. We are on English part of wikipedia and Prague is the english translation of Praha. Look at the Sparta Praha (FOOTBALL page) (redirects to Sparta Prague) article on english wiki. It´s logical - nobody (in the english speaking world) knows Praha - they know Prague. The example with the HC Sparta Praha page is not very relevant - with all the respects - as HC Sparta is not internationally popular club (especially in the english world) so nobody cares they have bad name on english Wiki. Example: Look at the Spartak Moscow - what the english media are speaking about? - Spartak Moscow or (the local version) Спартак Москва? what do you think?;) They are speaking about Spartak Moscow (Moscow=the english version of Москва). Similar example you can see with Bayern Munich/München. Talking about the english version of Wikipedi - it sould be definitely HC Lev Prague. This discussion isn´t nothing new - similar diskussions were 1000x in other articles. You should follow this "best practice" and do it this way. Regards, Szalas PS.the HC Sparta Praha site should be moved to HC Sparta Prague as well — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.39.70.195 ( talk) 11:32, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
Also, regarding "prague", i think we need to be weary of future 'english' pages that are just google translations. Should probably double check on english useage (like if they use it on their official social networks, or use it in graphics and the like and not just in a body of text). HC Donbass is a good example, they show how they have the english version right on their home page & have an english language logo variant. -- Львівське ( говорити) 21:07, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
After moving this article, should we also move
HC Lev (2010–12) to HC Lev Poprad to make it consistent and get rid of the ugly date range? I would say the date range format is only needed, if there are to clubs with the same name in the same city, such as the
Winnipeg Jets or
Dinamo Riga. Here the disambiguation via city name is much more intuitive.

Relevant to any following the page, but some want to change the team's name from HC Lev Praha to simply 'Lev Prague' -
