@ Mikenorton: hi. I see you've written most of this article and are specialised in geology, geomorphology, seismology. Would you consider writing an article on the Syrian Arc? It's being mentioned only in this article and in the one about the Judaean mountains, so modern Syria doesn't even show up in this context, nor do large parts of Israel/Palestine and all of Lebanon.
