Citizenship in infobox

The citizenship was removed from the infobox by User:Nikkimaria. I know this is sometimes done to remove so-called redundancies when the person was born and lives in the same country. However, Tuckwell lives in Jersey and could thus be British as opposed to Australian. For this reason, I think listing the citizenship in the infobox would make sense. Thank you. Per the template documentation, citizenship should be omitted from the infobox where it can be inferred from the place of birth. Nikkimaria ( talk) 02:40, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
Did you even read my comment? Zigzig20s ( talk) 02:57, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
"However, Tuckwell lives in Jersey and could thus be British as opposed to Australian." People change citizenships for tax reasons all the time. Zigzig20s ( talk) 03:55, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
And such a change would be sourceable, if it had occurred. Nikkimaria ( talk) 03:59, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
I think not. Public figures don't advertise every single detail of their lives. And many people who live in Jersey do so for tax purposes... Zigzig20s ( talk) 04:02, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
Ah, so we're engaging in original research to include the detail either way. Nikkimaria ( talk) 04:06, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
No, the article from The Australian Financial Review Magazine: The Wealth Issue, a secondary source I think, says he is Australian. But we are disproving that he may be British, as he lives in Jersey. Zigzig20s ( talk) 04:15, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
Okay, so the detail is in fact publicly available, contrary to your assertion above. Problem solved. Nikkimaria ( talk) 11:56, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
Yes, but how would you know if I'd not mentioned this article? Simply because it is deemed "likely" by you? Zigzig20s ( talk) 15:35, 6 July 2014 (UTC) reply
