Trondheim Tramway and this article both discuss Gråkallbanen. Both articles are well written, but they are basically about the same subject, so I feel they should be merged.
Indeed, someone should
I disagree. I think the articles should be organized as they are today. Mainly because Gråkallbanen AS is only a operator of the network, and the 'Gråkallbanen' never consisted of anything but the current line. Trondheim Tramway on the other hand owned and operated the rest of the network, and if I don't remember wrongly they where all merged into Trondheim Trafikkselskap in the early 70's.
Another good reason for keeping the articles separate, is that there is currently a movement to build more urban rail services in Norway. Especially in Bergen, Stavanger and Oslo, but I would not be surprised if Trondheim decided to implement a new light rail/tram system soon. I admire the people working for Gråkallbanen, but I am not sure they would be given a contract to run a wider network than what they are operating today. It could just as well be given to Team Trafikk or even NSB.
I must admit that I am impressed with the work done on this article, and I learned things I did not know from reading it.
I oppose merging. Gråkallbanen is about a single line, The Trondheim Tramway is about the system. I realize that the current tram system has only one this one line, and that merging looks like a sensible option, but we need to look at the past and not only the present. Historically, the tram system was more extensive, justifying separate articles here. One article to cover the history of the entire tram system, and another more geography related article to discuss a particular line. Sjakkalle (Check!) 08:49, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
I read a comment in Adresseavisen (The local newspaper in Trondheim) that during WWII an extension of the line was made to Fjellsæter. It would be interesting to know if anyone has more information on this for this article.

Route map should be updated, newest route table is available at https://www.atb.no/getfile.php/1342322-1564744622/Rutetabeller/Host19/AtB_Linje9.pdf. Specifically, Dronningens gate hasn't been a stop for many years now. -- Peter ( talk) 11:59, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
