LGBT?

This film was included in the program at the Frameline Film Festival, per this source — this, by definition, indicates LGBT-related themes in the film, because it's an LGBT film festival, but a Google search has yet to turn up any source indicating how it's LGBT-related, and I have not yet seen it myself. So the film may belong in Category:2024 LGBT-related films, Category:American LGBT-related films and Category:LGBT-related coming-of-age films, though I'm just leaving this note for investigation and am not going to add those categories myself at this time without sourcing for them. Per IndieWire review: "and Chris’ queer 17-year-old daughter Sam (extraordinary newcomer Lily Collias)". I'm not sure if that is enough to classify it as LGBT-related films? Mike  Allen 12:44, 26 June 2024 (UTC) reply
Yeah, that's a hard call. If a character identifies as queer, but the film's plot isn't particularly about that, then is that enough? I think I'll ask around to WikiProjects for some input. Thanks for that. Bearcat ( talk) 13:45, 27 June 2024 (UTC) reply
An editor at WPFILM was able to locate a source that provided significantly more context for the relevance of her queerness, so I will now be adding content with that source to justify the categories. Thanks for the input. Bearcat ( talk) 14:56, 27 June 2024 (UTC) reply
