A Global Area Network might be a MBWA network, but it is not limited to.
A Global Area Network might be anything that is global and a network in any technical, social, organizational manner.
- Internet
- any other telecommunication networks (telegraph, phone, satellite)
- logistic networks (any wide-spread transportation)

- Does nobody search for this topic, is there no official documentation for it, is the definition too short to justify and article about it, or is it just as simple as nobody caring about it that this is still the same in 2023?
