There's a real glass beach on Kaua'i, one of the Hawaiian islands. The top layer of beach is almost entirely pieces of tiny rounded sea glass. It's a rather unknown beach near Port Island, among industrial buildings. Can some people add this page?-- Darkfeline ( talk) 06:09, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
After reading this and seeing no mention elsewhere of the glass beach in Benicia I called their chamber of Commerce. The woman grew up in Benicia and said there really isn't any glass left there and she thinks a restaurant that was above the ocean there caused previous glass shards etc. Seeing that this is not really a destination I think Benicia should be removed from the entry.
In fact I agree this article is really confusing. The concept of a "glass beach" does not seem like an appropriate topic for wiki. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.61.141.87 ( talk) 14:38, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Glass Beach is definitely in Benicia, not Fort Bragg. I live here in Benicia, I took the picture in Benicia, I go to Glass Beach randomly, here in Benicia. Don't contradict me. Perhaps though, there are other glass beaches, including one in Fort Bragg. Perhaps a page should be about the idea of a glass beach moreso than the one specific one. Until I see evidence towards more than one glass beach, leave it as "in Benicia".
About the russian glass beach, which does not have its own Wikipedia site, see this article: [1]. 2A01:C22:C14C:3E00:ED28:575:CCC3:DB1A ( talk) 17:42, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
