I'm not quite sure what the BOT was doing here - the anonymous contributor may not have helped very much by just leaving the page blank, but glace cherries are not the same as Maraschino cherries - and the edit summary is right - the horrible almond taste of an Maraschino cherry is different from the sweet sugar taste of a Glace cherry.
