The article says "The land border with Qatar is one over which in 1993 the UAE continued to have a dispute in the Khawr al Udayd area.". Do the UAE really have a land border with Qatar ? Some maps seem to show one, others (like the one on the page) do not. 07:58, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

how does one know when they have switched countries if there is a secret border, how do they do security checks?
