Quite. This was the third most popular HL mod at one point. Couldn't touch CS and was over taken by DOD, but nonetheless a lot of people played this game. Me included. Operating 16:57, 20 September 2007 (UTC) reply
I'm still a fan of FLF and many people are waiting for a new version (Source) of FLF. Damn ! It was nearly the best mod ever (and I know hundreds mods on different game), like DoD before all gameplay/mapping changes in order to make it more commercial. Sadly, today there's not enought server/player to play FLF in a correct way. I had a dream... :) (Klem, 02/06/08) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.49.48.244 ( talk) 13:37, 6 February 2008 (UTC) reply

We are 7th april 2010 and it seems this mod is dead. I loved it, i really ejoyed it. Sometimes there were not many players and it was frustrating, but when a group of people got to gather together to play, it was the funniest pc game i have ever played. do you guys know if there is some similar mod existing now ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.216.25.190 ( talk) 23:13, 6 April 2010 (UTC) On official website : http://www.frontlineforce2.com/content/index.php "Our remaining Dev team members have merged with B.I., and ALL control of Frontline Force has been given to Blackened Interactive and Omega" and "I also am informed that FLF will run on the Orange Box SDK." Maybe adding somethings about this great news about FLF could be nice :) 193.49.48.244 ( talk) 12:48, 2 April 2008 (UTC) reply

Today, we're the 6th of June 2009 and BI haven't released a single news about FLF. I hope it's (at least) only a "long hibernation" period, not a permanent death. BI is supposed to be working on Project Valkyrie now, their Steam Group shows more than 200 hours of "Source SDK" and nearly 250 hours of "Half-Life 2" (= unnamed mods), that's mean BI is still active !

It is funny how this article tries to portray Mod Makers and Team Leaders as professionals, instead of just a bunch of guys sitting at their bedroom PCs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.61.0.43 ( talk) 14:15, 16 August 2009 (UTC) reply

It is funny to note that some of the devs went professionals right after making FLF, like Finol ending up at Valve. Just because someone sit in an office cube instead of his own desk won't make him more "professional" ("professional" in terms of quality of the product and how serious are the author at producing it), there's thousands (if not millions) of people working "at home" nowaday and millions of people producing amateurish products at their office.
You know we live in an Internet world don't you ? thinking "office" is always more professional than "home" is like saying Wikipedia is just a "bunch of articles written by a bunch of amateurs in front of their bedroom PCs, it can't be professional at all", in terms of quality FLF mod development was professional and that's why some of the devs were later hired.
Who cares about it anyways, FLF is dead and unless someone find a way to zombifie mods it will remains in the past forever :/ (note for anyone wanting to delete this article : this article have an important historical value about Half-Life 1 mods and should be preserved no matter if this mod is dead or alive, also the fact you might don't know it doesn't mean it's not important)-- 193.51.175.7 ( talk) 11:47, 1 March 2010 (UTC) reply
