I propose to rename it list of people by first name, add a few extra names, and make into a parallel of our list by surname. Comments, objections?
An alternative would be to move it to Fred and make it into a disambiguation page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MartinHarper ( talk • contribs) 09:15, 9 April 2003
Is it just me, or does it appear that there are probably more Freds worth writing about than what is on this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.18.2.61 ( talk • contribs) 00:28, 27 October 2005
m (non notable. not even PureBasic cites him.) The above is from the one who removed Fred from the list of Freds. YOU CAN'T READ, CAN YOU? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.166.203.165 ( talk • contribs) 20:24, 2 February 2006
There is a guy on YouTube who calls himself Fred. He pretends to be an 8-year-old boy with a wierd, high-pitched, voice. He talks very fast. He is very watched and is arguably one of the most popular users on YouTube. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bubble90210 ( talk • contribs) 04:23, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Here on this dab page, it says that the two footballers have the apelido "Fred". But in this case(and as in most) the name Fred is short for a first name such as Frederick. Apelido means surname, which is normally the last name, or name of the family. The word apelido should be changed to nickname. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.215.128.112 ( talk) 18:59, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
