Lousy photo. This article shows a better photo but using it is possibly stealing.

To date the NYPD has neglected to Issue Serpico his Medal of Honor certificate with authentic NYPD Seal. Nor has the medal itself a proper designation as to his rank of Detective on back of said medal. STOP REDACTING THE WHOLE TRUTH 2600:1700:24A0:73C0:510C:B247:6548:FBD9 ( talk) 03:49, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
To date the NYPD has neglected to Issue Serpico his Medal of Honor certificatewas verifiable with attribution to Mr. Serpico at the time. [4] The matter is now historical (and more verifiable), as Mr. Serpico has recently received the certificate. [1] [2] I'll work on this in the article.
