What is the UV cut off value of formic acid?
The historic production of Fromic acid isn't discussed. According to everything I've read, FA is used in
rubber production. However, I doubt they were turning over ant-hills to produce the acid to make tons of rubber between 1770-1855... so how were they getting the acid at that point?

The so called 'high' Hydrogen content of 55 g/L is not really high compared with methanol at 71 g/L or other hydrogen storage like methane, ammonia etc.

Acetic Acid has the same NFPA pictogram but carries an additional GHS diamond for flammability. Why this discrepancy? 57.135.233.22 ( talk) 20:10, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
"Formic acid is about ten times stronger than acetic acid" . Is this a pH thing? Or is it saying that formic acid would neutralise 10 times the amount of an alkali than acetic acid would? I am not a chemist. 78.146.94.150 ( talk) 13:42, 19 March 2024 (UTC)
