October 2023
WikiNav data indicates that out of 84 outgoing views that month, 54 were for the Brooklyn one and 30 were for the TV series. (The total incoming views that month was 127, so who knows what happened to the remaining 43 views.)

Thank you and good point; I prefer the cleanliness of your proposal. Looking at
Template:Brooklyn, it feels like there's no unified naming convention/title style guide for places in Brooklyn (Edit: per
WP:NYCPLACE, "Neighborhoods within
New York City are identified by the standard "Neighborhood, Borough"when not at the base name" so this move would be in line with the style guide). Out of the 77 neighborhoods linked there, 65 end in ", Brooklyn" and 12 do not (e.g.
Boerum Hill,
Park Slope). Out of the 65, a number have redirects: "East Williamsburg" redirects to "
East Williamsburg, Brooklyn"; "Bushwick" is similar. "Barren Island" is a disambig page, and "West Midwood" is located at
West Midwood, Brooklyn while
West Midwood is a red link, without even a redirect. I can't find any unifying principle.
Template:Manhattan is also a mixed bag but the ratio is flipped. I will cross-post this move discussion to
Talk:Flatbush, Brooklyn before making the change, but I don't think this will be controversial.-Ich(
