Hi, I would like to ask, why it is not allowed to add a copied text, when it is copied from a web with Creative Commons Licens of BY-SA type? I wanted to create an English page of our faculty (Faculty of Humanities at the Charles University in Prague) I work at (Study Administration Office: lenka.pinzova@fhs.cuni.cz). Therefore I add to our faculty web page ( http://fhs.cuni.cz) the Creative Commons License of BY-SA type to avoid this copyright problems here. Could you give me an advice if there is another one thing to do to get allowance of a copied text here at wikipedia? Is it possible in any way? Thank you very much for your answer.

You're right, that page is CCL, so I've removed the speedy tag. The article still needs work though, as it currently reads like a marketing brochure for the department rather than an encyclopedia article about it. Please also have a read of WP:Conflict of interest: it's likely to be very difficult for you to write objectively on this subject. Thanks, MuffledThud ( talk) 14:17, 1 March 2010 (UTC) reply

COI tag

JalenFolf I'm considering AfD'ing the article, at this point. I gave User:IGyiys a chance to improve on the references and establish notabiity, and they haven't done that. I just need a second opinion, at this point. BlueNoise ( Désorienté? It's just purple) 01:01, 27 October 2022 (UTC) reply
