Though the town is a small town, it is rich in talent such as art... Some of the most unexpected talents rise locally from the town such as acting. The combination of the only two local high schools has produced a local film featuring the very best of it's local talent. The film is still awaiting to be published by the SABC, which ultimately might as well help boost the town and place it on the map.

On the other hand, the well known local choir known as one of the best choirs in the country has by itself won many prestigious awards, through taking part in the international and national choir festivals. The local choir has a main aim which is very important. The aim of the choir is to focus mainly on the town's development by developing feature young stars who perform very well in the art of singing and acting(drama). The choir focuses on developing young talent locally, and some of them ending up furthering their studies abroad, and in tertiary institutions to further their studies and develop their talents fully....
