I found this article from the Attempted assassination of Donald Trump, but I don't think Vucci qualifies as notable. There is one cited article from Time that talks about him at length, but I don't think that's enough. Many of the links just verify that his photographs are published by the Associated Press, they're not actually articles about him. Any news coverage about the Trump photo can go in the article about the assassination as WP:SINGLEEVENT. Fnordware ( talk) 05:58, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply

This page has existed since 2014, and half of the RS have nothing to do with his now-famous photograph. He appears to be perfectly notable in his own right. Joe ( talk) 09:02, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply
The page has stayed up because he was too obscure to for people to stumble upon it and flag it for removal. An article staying up for some number of years is not proof of notability. Fnordware ( talk) 15:19, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply
And actually, a bot added Template:BLP_unreferenced to the article on 7 August 2009, and it has been there ever since. Fnordware ( talk) 15:24, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply
He's WP:NARTIST#3 notable because his photograph from the assassination attempt is a well-known work, which has been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles. Levivich ( talk) 19:41, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply
"In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews." I don't think we're there yet. Sounds like they're talking about things like V-J Day in Times Square or Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima. Possible the photo could rise to that status, but it ain't there yet. The thing to do for the moment is let the article stand and get a better perspective a year or more from now. Fnordware ( talk) 21:39, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply
Trump raised fist photographs has multiple independent periodical articles or reviews, of which Vucci's photos are the primary subject, and it's only been like 24 hours. Tomorrow, there will be more independent articles or reviews. Levivich ( talk) 21:45, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply

Adding Vucci's now-famous photograph from the Bethel Park rally

Given the significant coverage of this photograph taken by Vucci, it may make sense to show it here. Thoughts? Joe ( talk) 09:08, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply

I would wait a week to see if the photo is still widely in use but let´s be honest. It will be. If it´s still widely shared and discussed and the artile on the Attempted assassination of Donald Trump keeps it then we have found Evan´s current legacy. 2A00:1F:8703:2601:FC1A:CA13:CEC9:8D5C ( talk) 14:45, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply
I believe WP:NFCC requires showing the photo in only one article. I am working on a stub about the photo which I will publish today; that's probably the one place, if we are limited to one place. Levivich ( talk) 19:42, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply

He indirectly won a Pulitzer Prize but it wasn´t a solo win

The article still has to cover this and someone with more knowledge of how to do it should make the edit but Evan hasn´t won the Prize himself in 2021 despite that now being claimed. An example: https://www.thedailybeast.com/ap-photographer-evan-vucci-spills-on-historic-trump-rally-shooting-pic

He was instead part of the Associated Press photography staff that won the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography in 2021. The topic was America´s response to the death of George Floyd: https://www.pulitzer.org/winners/photography-staff-associated-press It's in itself worth adding I think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:1F:8703:2601:FC1A:CA13:CEC9:8D5C ( talk) 14:41, 14 July 2024 (UTC) reply
