Does anyone know if there's any particular significance of almost all the characters in the book having first names which begin with 'J'? There's even a Joseph, as well as central character Joe. Marthiemoo ( talk) 14:16, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Some of this, especially the part about it testing his beloved rationalism, is just from the blurb on the back of the book. It should be changed because through out the whole book the main characters opinion is 'I'm right and everyone else is wrong' and it turns out he is right, it doesn't test his love of rationalism at all. 122.108.58.140 ( talk) 06:36, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
The book has a helium balloon, the film uses a hot air balloon. Thanks GrahamHardy ( talk) 08:44, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
