Hi. If anyone is interested, there is a nice article covering the "Basement II" demos on MTV's website ( [1]), proof of their notability if nothing else. - Phorque 22:27, 6 September 2006 (UTC) reply

from a basement on a hill placement in album section

from a basement on a hill and new moon are listed as Posthumous albums yet at the elliott smith box at the bottom of every page connected to him only new moon is listed as so i think that one or the outher needs to be changed and in my opinion. It should be the box as "basement" was after his death, i was just wondering if anyone else thinks so? i know that it says posthumous collections but i still think that from a basement on a hill should probably be included to it.

It comes down to album vs. collection. Basement was not so much a collection as Smith intended to release at least a portion of it. I had moved Basement down to "Posthumous albums" in the box, but got reverted and now it says collection. – Pomte 02:09, 3 June 2007 (UTC) reply
