I would argue that since he is the father, the date he became her father is (also) a claim about himself. But regardless, I'm pretty sure that the policy does not mean such claims when it talks about "claims about third parties". I think per
WP:COMMONSENSE we can assume that most parents will not lie about their children's birthdays even in self-published sources. Regards
