I think we can safely say that Bowman apologising for having read out a racist listener comment live on air the day before, in 2006, after getting zero listener complaints for having done so, has now comprehensively failed the
WP:10YEARS test. Is there some importance to this non-story that we're missing,

Lord Belbury Indeed, racism is always important, and should be highlighted at all times.

I think it's clearly still relevant, and it did actually draw listener complaints. Your use of 'non-story' highlights your agenda.

The cited source says that Radio 1 received no complaints about it. In what way is it relevant to a full-life biography of Bowman? It's looking
WP:UNDUE if there was no further consequence or mention of it, and I can't see any lasting press coverage. I've removed it per
WP:ONUS, pending a clearer argument for its inclusion. --
