Hungary's economic situation has not changed quite significantly since 2011. Is there a usual badge that we could put on the page that it is seriously outdated to warn the readers until a competent editor contributes the updates?
Simply, this is short article on part of the history of the Hungarian economy. It would be better served as part of this article placing the information in a wider context. Nuttah68 19:30, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

I have created a separate History of the Hungarian economy page because I believe that a) this is an extremely long chunk of text b) has a different purpose: this page should serve as an overview of the current state of the economy and only contain a shortened historical part. I have quickfailed this article as a GAN, because it obviously and clearly has no chance of passing. Many sections are completely unreferenced, the language is partisan and inappropriate, the lead section is too short and the prose is poor. Ironholds ( talk) 18:42, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
User Hortobagy tries to add the following sentence to the lede: "However, Hungary's recession deepened in the last 5 years.". This claim doesn't have any place in the lede, since: (1) it was a personal opinion of an analyst, not a solid fact; (2) its obsolete (10 months old), and the Hungarian Economy produced the 3rd fastest growth in the whole European Union in Q1 2013 (0.7%); (3) this article is about a general overview of the Hungarian Economy and not a newspaper or a collection of arbitrary subjective opinions, especially not in the lede. Please, reply to my argument before replacing that sentence. Cheers, KœrteFa {ταλκ} 20:26, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello everyone, I am working for the International Trade Centre (ITC), a UN/WTO agency that aims to promote sustainable economic development through trade promotion. I would like to propose the addition of an external link ( http://www.macmap.org/QuickSearch/FindTariff/FindTariff.aspx?subsite=open_access&country=348&source=1%7CITC) that leads directly to our online database of customs tariffs applied by Hungary. Visitors can easily look up market access information for Hungary by selecting the product and partner of their interest. I would like you to consider this link under the WP:ELYES #3 prescriptions. Moreover, the reliability and the pertinence of this link can be supported by the following facts 1) ITC is part of the United Nations, and aims to share trade and market access data on by country and product as a global public good 2) No registration is required to access this information 3) Market access data (Tariffs and non-tariff measures) are regularly updated

Dr. Simonovits has reviewed this Wikipedia page, and provided us with the following comments to improve its quality:
I have no found any grave error. It is quite schematic, the reader would not find any important difference from Slovakia or Romania. As a destructive critique: try to avoid ranking, since they are meaningless. To give an example: It is better to be the last in LEXP within EU with 90% of the maximal LEXP rather than to be the second with 80% of the maximum.
We hope Wikipedians on this talk page can take advantage of these comments and improve the quality of the article accordingly.
We believe Dr. Simonovits has expertise on the topic of this article, since he has published relevant scholarly research:
