Need a disambiguation page?

Can we have a disambiguation page for "Eccentricity" and move the "Popular usage" section to a different page?

Done: eccentricity (mathematics), eccentricity (orbit), eccentricity (mechanics), and eccentricity (behavior). Jake 22:11, 3 Dec 2004 (UTC)

A simpler definition to visualize: The eccentricity of an ellipse is the ratio of the distance between the foci to the major axis. That other thing with the square root is very abstract. - Doradus 16:08, 27 Mar 2004 (UTC)

Pronunciation

Most people seem to pronounce this like "ex-sentricity", but I've heard scientists (talking about orbits) say "ee-sentricity". Dictionaries don't seem to agree with the latter. DonPMitchell ( talk) 20:05, 9 November 2014 (UTC) reply
