i have removed this section twice already but once sole editor, Musclebug, seems intent on readding this section back. this "confusion" wiht another actor is nothing more than a screwup on a few movie databases which should not be mentioned in this article nor on the other guys article either. Far as I can tell, no third-party source has ever touched on this "confusion" nor made an issue of it. are we reporting internet screwups now? 24.72.176.240 ( talk) 22:26, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
This confusion is a gross error from many parties such that it borders on being a misconception or a fallacy. Wikipedia was one of the parties until I corrected the error. This confusion predates Wikipedia and is not limited to the web so it is not just a screup from a few movie databases or an Internet screwup. Wikipedia does report on misconceptions. The third party sources have been Earl Holliman and Anthony Earl Numkena both of whom met a few years ago because the confusion long after Destination Gobi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Musclebug ( talk • contribs) 17:47, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
It's useful information which would have saved me considerable research. There are many books that have this mistake, going back to 1980. All the best:
