This tekst states that the Dutch word Indië means India in English. That is not really accurate as the Dutch word for India is India, not Indië. Indië is only used in a historical sense referring to a broad region in Asia an another region in the Americas. So I'll change this.

It seems to far better correspond to the term
Greater India (and in the broad sense of that term). This of course only covers Oost Indië, West Indië being in the Americas.
