History 123.231.91.202 ( talk) 12:52, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
I have dispersed the criticism section to other parts of the article (per WP:CRIT) but I am not convinced that it is an improvement. The history section is long and devoid of any themes e.g. acquisitions, management changes and media criticism. If anyone wants to have a go at this, please do so. Views welcome. Dormskirk ( talk) 23:42, 2 December 2023 (UTC)
So, further to @ Dormskirk's suggestion, I did an overhaul of history to group thematically, because chronology just becomes a horrible laundry list, and on an organisation with such complex history it just doesn't work, and the linkage between elements breaks - e.g. the acquisition vs disposal and so on.
I believe that this is the only way to structure history, and not saying it can't be improve upon, but @ john_baost came and moved it to chronological.
I've reverted that, because I think it still doesn't work, so here we are on talk to discuss. OwainDavies ( about)( talk) edited at 14:54, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
