I now see that people have flooded the edit request for changes and the tempers are quite high; given that, I think this addition -- on a new line in the section regarding his career after serving as Governor General -- is fair and unbiased:

Amid fierce criticism by opposition parties regarding Johnston's appointment as special rapporteur, citing Johnston's relationship with the Trudeau family and the Trudeau Foundation as constituting a conflict of interest, Johnston submitted a letter of resignation on June 9, 2023. [1]
