The article states that "Apparently it is one of the biggest budget Russian films ever weighing in at $30 million". Well, how about The Barber of Siberia by
Nikita Mikhalkov? Its budget was some $40 million, and the Russian Wiki mentions it, as well. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Storyline detail
The "Towers turned out to be Earth technology" quote. I might be wrong, but I'm sure that bit of information is never mentioned or hinted at in both the movie and the book. Thus it should be assumed the technology was invented in the Fatherland. — Preceding
