The article states that "Apparently it is one of the biggest budget Russian films ever weighing in at $30 million". Well, how about The Barber of Siberia by Nikita Mikhalkov? The "Towers turned out to be Earth technology" quote. I might be wrong, but I'm sure that bit of information is never mentioned or hinted at in both the movie and the book.
