An editor who also pursued the removal of sourced info on allegations raised by Hunter and other candidates from the Howie Hawkins 2020 presidential campaign page, has at the same time (i.e. within the same 24 hr period) been making Hawkins-centered and unsourced edits to this page that do not adhere to NPOV. Howie Hawkins is the former competitor to Hunter in both the Green Party and Oregon Progressive Party presidential primaries. The edits have since been modified to reflect Wikipedia standards.
I raise the concern here to alert editors to the potential for vandalism of the article. While I maintain the assumption of good faith (i.e. the editor may believe the edits are warranted), Wikipedia standards must still be observed and the cross edits - considering both content and context - are not a good look. The article repeatedly calls Hunter an independent candidate. So do sources like The Spectator, Ballot Access News among other sources. Hunter has the ballot label Progressive but there is no national Progressive Party that has nominated him. As such, Wikipedia should reflect the sources and not assert that he is the Progressive Party nominee.-- User:Namiba 15:08, 27 August 2020 (UTC)
