I found an error. When you fail a song on Dance Maniax, it is not an immediate game over in every case. You simply end the failed song, and you are allowed one less song. So if you were to fail your first song, you would immediately choose your third song.

2nd MIX append JPARADISE

I haven't played in a while (local arcade is in the process of moving), but I am fairly certain that the song "Happy-hopper" is available on Dance Maniax 2nd MIX append JPARADISE. I recall being able to select it in the individual song selection mode (by holding left and right and pressing start to start the game), but I am not sure if it is in any of the courses. - SoAxVampyre 09:59, 25 May 2006 (UTC) reply

After checking the official Konami website for Dance Maniax 2nd MIX append JPARADISE, I have found that "Happy-hopper" is indeed listed as an available song. I shall remove the notification that it is not available. Feel free to revert if this is in error. - SoAxVampyre 10:04, 25 May 2006 (UTC) reply
Upon further investigation, the claim that Dance Maniax 2nd MIX append JPARADISE only had 53 recurring songs is apparently true. According to Konami's websites (linked on this page), the only song that appears on the song list for Dance Maniax but not on the song list Dance Maniax 2nd MIX append JPARADISE is "My Sharona" by DJ Miko, originally from ZIPmania 3. I shall update this page to reflect this new information. Please revert changes if the Konami websites are in error. - SoAxVampyre 10:17, 25 May 2006 (UTC) reply
Adding to an old piece of info: No, your findings are correct. The entire song list is available and customizable by holding down right and pressing start at the main screen after adding your credits, instead of just pressting start. This enables the choice of a custom non-stop course as well as modifiers like speed mods. My Sharona is the only song not carried over. It also appears that in a few cases, BPM was changed by 1 between 1st and 2nd mix. For instance 139 to 140 or 140 to 139. Also, songs with extra long titles got chopped a little. Other than that, the difficulty rankings stayed the same... atleast for single.-- 24.250.201.156 18:36, 15 September 2007 (UTC) reply
"Happy-hopper" is available as a song on 2nd MIX (not just JPARADISE). It's not on the soundtrack, though. dougk ( Talk ˑ Contribs) 06:46, 29 September 2007 (UTC) reply
And I just realized it already reflects this. Hm. dougk ( Talk ˑ Contribs) 06:47, 29 September 2007 (UTC) reply

I think the song lists should be added back in. There was no reason to remove information from the page that isn't available elsewhere in the wiki as far as i can tell. I was specifically trying to find what the song changes were between 2nd Mix and 2nd Mix append JParadise were and had to go look at the old versions to find it.
