I never understood why the young Damian in the series ended up as the perfect depiction of a Chav in the specials, other than the refs of pop culture that were on the UK tv at the time, with previous examples in the show, shouldn't he have been more spoiled & stuck up? — Preceding

Spoilt, yes, but stuck up?? Have you never met any spoilt rich kids with parents from working class roots and lack of taste (check out Del and Raquel's bedroom)? Particularly in London and surrounding area. Come to Cheshunt and Goff's Oak, and you'll find loads of hoodied teens and twentysomethings who live off their parents and spend their days listening to garage or jungle music and driving up and down in their cars from their gated houses. Epitome of chav, except the Burberry they wear is real not fake.
