There is no doubt that this company was once known as Custom Coaches. They were still using that name in 2010 but during that year, at least on their website, started to use "Custom" without the "Coaches" bit, per their news archives. Their website generally now refers to them just as "Custom", but the footer to each page attributes the site to "Custom Bus" & there are also multiple references to a "Custom Group".
The issue is a mess, probably of self-styling by their martketing department, official naming and perhaps some changes of the official naming. We need to resolve this in order to fix the text and perhaps even the article title. Can anyone find a news announcement for any name changes? Is there any official record kept in a government-operated register of companies etc? - Sitush ( talk) 12:03, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
Australia has or has had 8 government operators in its 6 states and 2 territories:
Australian Capital Territory: http://www.actbus.net/fleetwiki/index.php?title=ACTION_Fleet_-_Disposals_Summary
New South Wales: http://fleetlists.busaustralia.com/index-sta.php
Northern Territory: http://fleetlists.busaustralia.com/nt.php?search=DAR
Queensland: http://www.btbuses.info/?GoTo=FleetLists
South Australia: http://fleetlists.busaustralia.com/index-sa.php
Tasmania: http://fleetlists.busaustralia.com/tas.php?search=MET
Victoria: http://fleetlists.busaustralia.com/vic.php?search=MEA
Western Australia http://www.perthbus.info/
If User:Sitush would like to trawl through these, this should satisfy his/her 'nerdy' needs that CCMC only bodied a few buses between the early 1960s and late 1990s. May not be exactly 35 but is there or there abouts. Ibsiadkgneoeb ( talk) 12:39, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
