Warren wasn't a particularly big player in the drugs business in the mid-80s, as the article previously stated. The book 'Cocky' clearly states that in 1988 he was merely a street level dealer on the first rung of the ladder, and it was only in 1989 that his name started to become mentioned even among the major names in Toxteth. 81.155.178.248 11:00, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
clearly this is a different Curtis Warren than the guy who won $1.4 million on the gameshow "Greed" in early 2000 -- by guessing the 4 of 8 TV series that have been made into movies (since then, another 2 became movies as well :sigh: ) 199.214.24.219 ( talk) 00:30, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
Are the Liverpool Echo/icLiverpool and Liverpool Daily Post reliable enough or should we remove the text only sourced to them? -- Jeandré, 2008-03-17 t20:20z
Any update on his case??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.57.155.143 ( talk) 12:05, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
After Warren was released from jail, local police commented that he had turned his life around, a bouncer at a Liverpool nightclub.
Speculative. That Warren is in prison for non payment of a court order to pay a large amount is no kind of evidence that he currently has those kind of assets. As I understand it there was a claim that he put 10 million though an account ten times making 100 million (nice round figure) and it is deemed he invested it and it has appreciated in value. Wikipedia require a reliable source for information about living people. If land and businesses are not in his name, he does not own them. Overagainst ( talk) 15:39, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
Gangster is not a very objective term.
Should it not be simply “Criminal” or “Drugs dealer”? Rustygecko ( talk) 21:16, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
