Should this article be merged with the article " Tobin tax?"
I recommend strongly against merging it with "Tobin tax" for the following reasons:

Currently the 'Evaluation' section only lists supporters and quotes their arguments and not opposers or their arguments. This could be taken from the Tobin Tax article, there's a number to pick from. 90.220.248.114 ( talk) 18:53, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

The APT tax is a Financial transaction tax but not a currency transaction tax in the sense of involving multiple currencies. I think including it here reduces the clarity and focus of the topic.
I would make this change more aggressively myself, but I'm not sure where to put the info, and I'm worried about it being taken as vandalism. 73.63.250.211 ( talk) 06:03, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
