This article has a lot of cited material that deals with Cumans as opposed to the territory they occupied. Should the Cumans and Cumania articles be merged?-- tufkaa 15:12, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
Wasn't Black the colour for North and White for the West as in [ here] ?
Dasht-i Qipchaq is directed to Cumania. But in the text, Kipchaks and Cumans are differentiated and they have separate articles in Wikipedia. If they really are two different people than, Dasht-i Qipchaq (plains of Kipchack) should not be directed to Cumania (land of Cumans). Nedim Ardoğa ( talk) 15:22, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
[1] — Adjiev's writings are 'folk-history' (pseudoscience), they are not reliable sources. See ru:Аджиев, Мурад Эскендерович. I've removed ref to them. -- Q Valda ( talk) 09:00, 13 March 2012 (UTC)
The coat of Arms shown in the article is the coat of arms of the hungarian region of Cumania — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:57:E351:9E75:DD85:41FA:2D02:99D9 ( talk) 13:38, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
"The climate is cold, and their water comes from springs and wells."
Could someone explain the difference, else my English Dictionary doesn´t make any difference - is this nonsense?-- 2003:F2:83C8:4B01:B177:89A6:DFD7:DE7C ( talk) 22:18, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
This page should deal with the geographic region "Cumania". The confederation, that is a different concept from the region, should be dealt with in a separate article ( Cuman–Kipchak confederation). Many other languages' Wiki pages that link Cumania deal with only the region (or grassland). For example, Chinese wiki has another article dealing with the Confederation ( zh:庫曼汗國). The confederation should not be included in this page.-- ABCEdit ( talk) 12:16, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
