Considering this is an English language entry, the article should be named Cruyff turn, with the alternative spelling in parenthesis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.22.220.61 ( talk) 00:46, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
who indeed was the creater of this move?! I cant say exactly who created it but Pele did it long before Cruyff, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa4qCbYPp2E you can watch in this video. at that time, Cruyff did even not start his professional career — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sir artur ( talk • contribs) 22:37, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
I can't do it because there is already a redirect there. Equinox ◑ 17:26, 5 July 2017 (UTC)
Reverted changes made by an unknown user who stated Eulogio Martínez 'invented' this move. Nobody invented the move and certainly not Martinez. The move can be seen in video's much older than that of Martinez. E.g. I recently saw footage of Gento do this move way before Eulogio Martínez and I'm sure players before Gento used this move as well. So to emphasize: the article states that the move was named after Cruyff, not invented by him. P.C. Hooft ( talk) 00:01, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: moved per request. Favonian ( talk) 17:44, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
Cruyff Turn → Cruyff turn – Consistency with current naming conventions - For egxample: Marseille turn, Pelé runaround move and so on. Footwiks ( talk) 16:48, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
