Requesting a citation for the statement "is considered by some to be the hardest puncher at 205 pounds" is as unneeded as a citation for "Dogs have fur". Read it and you'll see what I mean.
1. Chuck Liddell has lost all of his fights via. TKO (his first loss to Horn was by passing out, he stated HIMSELF that he never tapped because he thought he could hold on until the next round. He didn't) 2. Chuck's TKO loss to Rampage in 2003 was actually due to Chuck's corner throwing in the towel, not by strikes. Watch the ending of that fight and you can clearly see a white towel thrown to the referee, who then stops the fight.
I'll change these 2. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SuzukS ( talk • contribs) 03:23, 18 February 2007 (UTC).

Any official explanation so far as to his appearing drugged/asleep/mentally injured during this now infamous appearance promoting the film "300"? Let me say IMO I don't think he was on any recreational or illegal drugs, the UFC tests it's fighters and he came up clean (which also would probably discount non-prescribed prescription painkillers). However he DID appear to either be heavily drunk, suffering from serious sleep deprivation, or as some people are speculating suffering from some form of head trauma. Now I'm sure it was something simple (I'm voting sleep deprivation, I've heard those dudes between publicity stuff, training, and just day to day life end up with a pretty hellishly hectic daily regieme), however what was his camps or his sports governing bodies official response on the incident? That would be nice to put up here, since it would be a 'fact' we could link and would put an end to some of the sillier rumors that have circulated since.
In the introduction it states that Liddell has received his purple belt in Jiu-jitsu. I assume because of his career that it would mean BJJ and not some other form; can anyone clarify?

I think that the opening paragraphs do not need to mention that high school football player who started 4 years its something plenty of guys do (maybe move it to a trivia area). I think instead in the opening paragraph is should state that he was college wrestler, being that is something he is more known for.
What is with the records of certain fighters (Liddell's included) showing their record after EVERY fight? I find that extremely pointless.
Do we have to include the number of times he beat someone?I think it's stupid and is pointless since it shows the opponents in the mma record.( MgTurtle ( talk) 14:11, 3 August 2008 (UTC))
Should it be mentioned that Chuck's brother Dan is also training in mma?( MgTurtle ( talk) 20:33, 7 August 2008 (UTC))

ok well i see you using alot of big words but you dont seem to be saying much. facts are facts. he was named "most dangerous man" despite being TKO'd less than three weeks prior. you cant argue with the truth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Emex4 ( talk • contribs) 07:19, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
I think part of the edit war is because Chuck Liddell was not knocked out by Quinton Jackson. It was a premature stoppage by the referee and everyone that was there in person knows that Jackson was booed out of the presence of the spectators. The booing didn't stop until Jackson went to his dressing room. Dana White rushed over to Liddell immediately after the premature stoppage and it was obvious that he was offering him a big pay check to keep his mouth shut about the premature stoppage. He was mouthing words such as "pay you" "pay you" "worth while" over and over again. It was enough money that Liddell did keep his mouth shut. Everyone that was there saw that immediately after Liddell went down he was actively protecting himself and when the ref prematurely stopped the fight the ref had to sit on Liddell to keep him from standing up in protest. Once Dana White ran over and offered money to Liddell several people had to convince him to sit on the stool because he was still upset by the "fixed fight". Those of us who were there know what really happened. So the "official" record might say he was knocked out, but we know what the true facts are. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Qwertasdfgzx ( talk • contribs) 17:44, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Chuck Lidell and Randy Couture are considered to have brought the UFC out of the dark ages, Why is Tito Ortiz not mentioned also? He is the first Light-Heavyweight champion of the renamed middleweight belt against Wanderlei Silva at UFC 25 (Before UFC 25 middleweight tittle was defended at 205 lbs) and went on to defend it 5x successfully.
I think first two columns are needed to align to center for better appearance and perception. Location also lacks flag icons.-- Metacrush ( talk) 17:04, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Since the cited source seems to be IMDB and there is no record about 300 on his page, i wondered how that works. i realize that he was participating largely in the promotion of the movie in the US, but does this qualify as a cameo? i don't think so and the source is bogus. on another note, does imdb pages even qualify as a reliable source? after all it can be edited by users just as well as wiki. Should his daughter Dannika be included in the personal section for this article? I suspect she is Heidi's daughter from a previous relationship meaning she's a step-daughter. This post from August 16, 2011 says "We can't wait to add a little one to our family along with our amazing kids Cade, Dannika, and Trista". Dannika is also identified in this post. I don't trust the reliability of this site but it identifies Dannika as a step-daughter (and has the wrong birth date for Guinevere). Chuck Liddell consistently refers to Dannika as his daughter and so if she's added to the article I'd use that term rather than step-daughter. -- Marc Kupper| talk 19:55, 7 June 2014 (UTC)

Liddell announced on April 14, 2018, that he was coming out of retirement to target a third fight with Tito Ortiz. The fight took place on November 24, 2018 under Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions.[39][40] Liddell lost the fight via knockout in the first round.[41] I think more detail should be added here about Chucks clearly degraded ability in every aspect, this 'fight' should never have happened and was nothing more than Golden Boy Promotions cashing in on Liddell. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.148.192.213 ( talk) 12:28, 25 November 2018 (UTC)

I am sorry if this is not proper category but I just wanted to ask you - what the hell??? You wrote Chuck Liddell lost from Rashad Evans, but on the official ufc site it says Chuck withdraw from the match due to an injury....
??? I am confused? I would appreciate the explanation. Thanx!--

No I'm talking about his younger brother Dan Liddell who hasn't made his mma debut yet but will on August 15th, 2008.Here's a link [2]( MgTurtle ( talk) 01:54, 8 August 2008 (UTC)).
Also not mentioned are his other siblings, (Chuck talked about them in his book) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.1.80.2 ( talk) 16:50, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
I wanted to ask before i make the change. I wanna add his kickboxing rec (20F, 18W, 16KO's, 2L) to his infobox. example Mark Hunt. Any objections? Marty Rockatansky ( talk) 20:59, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Please lets settle this on talk instead of this continuous edit war.

ok well i see you using alot of big words but you dont seem to be saying much. facts are facts. he was named "most dangerous man" despite being TKO'd less than three weeks prior. you cant argue with the truth.
I think the link in the section ultimate fighting championship for Noe Hernandez redirects incorrectly. That is of course unless he did fight an Olympic race walker. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Captain Deez ( talk • contribs) 22:17, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Even though Dana has said he doesn't WANT Chuck to fight anymore, Chuck has to make the decision for himself. There's a big dispute going on currently because Dana is trying to force Chuck to retire but Chuck has yet to make a decision. He's not retired yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.70.140.237 ( talk) 17:13, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Of Course not. He'll be back. Give him about 4 months to pick up his shattered ego and he will be back on the road again. 41.234.40.184 ( talk) 20:16, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Liddell is over, but he's gonna continue and end off like Ken Shamrock most likely. Lasttiger ( talk) 16:09, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
Dana White said in an interview during The Ultimate Finale 9 "I'm not Chuck Liddell's dad. I can't force him to retire, so it's really a matter of whether or not he wants to come back." -- 24.177.4.216 ( talk) 04:45, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
He'll Be back I agree with user 41.234. He's just depressed about his loss at the moment. But I'd say more like a year than 4 months until he comes back. Lasttiger ( talk) 02:19, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Per CBS News http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2010/02/26/crimesider/entry6246351.shtml, Chuck and his girlfriend Heidi Northcott have taped and posted a video of them wearing nothing but the Reebox that Liddell endorses as a "viral video". I've noticed that he is cited as having a cameo in the movie "300".
