Merge with Chimu culture?
I don't see a reason not to merge this page with that of the Chimu culture. This page is a stub because all the information that would be put here is on the other page. — Preceding

Support merge, but
Chimor seems like the broader topic, so I argue that the merge should be to that page, despite that fact that it is currently shorter.

Klbrain: I think this was a mistake. There is a difference between the empire and the people, the civilization. On Fr.wiki and es.wiki there are two sepereate articles for Inca civilization and the Inca empire. I think we should move anything like society, culture, and architecture in this article to Chimu culture, making this article about the historic-military entity.

If you look back at the
pre-merge page you'll see that there is very little that isn't culture. Fr.wiki and es.wiki are welcome to make different decisions. While there has been expansion over the last 2.5 years, much of it also seems to be culture. So, my view is still that discussing the empire and its culture, as interdependent topics, works. If you feel differently, feel free to propose a
WP:SPLIT.

Sources for the information in the Ceramics section?
In the section on ceramics there are some claims that early Chimú pottery had some similarities to that of Moche potter. Can anyone find a source to this claim?
