I'm surprised she's considered noteworthy enough to have a page devoted to her anyway. I was actually a contemporary of hers at Manchester Uni but in all honesty her one claim to fame is being a former partner of Julie Burchill. --

A lot of minor media personalities seem to have their own (often short, stub-like) WP articles. Apart from links to Raven's online Guardian, Observer and New Statesman columns and reviews, and a few relevant biographical data, this article consists mostly of uninteresting relationship-and-family stuff. (A long attack piece that depicted adverse reaction to one 2001
column by Raven as a major "controversy" consisted of editorialising and selective quoting, so I removed it.) – I'm not too familiar with
WP:N and can't really say if a cultural commentator such as Raven merits a WP page. At any rate, it should contain more substantial information than it does now to be justified as a WP article. --

Can anypone explain the importance/notability of this: during her student days, Ms Raven "presided over an election in which Liam Byrne MP failed to be elected as the Union's Welfare Officer" (so, who won?) There's nothing in the text to show why this is of any consequence, and WP isn't normally given to chronicling the intrigues of student politics.
