Charlie Brown (basketball, born 1997) → Charles Brown Jr. (basketball) OR Charlie Brown Jr. (basketball) - I'd like to reopen this discussion after a full season of experience, it seems that Charles Brown Jr. or Charlie Brown Jr. is what he is most commonly referred to as. On NBA.com [1], his listed name is Charles Brown Jr. which is consistent with gleague.nba.com [2]. However, the actual bio of these two sources refer to him as Charlie Brown Jr. Simple google searches such as "Hawks Charles/Charlie Brown" consistently include the suffix with few exceptions. There are definitely inconsistencies throughout major sports websites between Charles and Charlie, but very few list him simply as "Charles Brown" almost always including the Jr. suffix.
