Dear Anonymous:
Welcome to Wikipedia.
I notice that you have removed the statement and reference that Charlevoix, Michigan (and 30 other locales is part of the Gaylord diocese of the Catholic Church.
Your systematic removal of the accurate relationship of the geographic organization of the Catholic church in Michigan form a bunch of websites under the theory that "it has nothing to do with geography" is wrong-headed. If you narrowly construe the word "geography", you were still removing a pertinent, true and useful fact. It would have been far better (IMHO), if you had expended all this destructive energy in a constructive manner, i.e., moving the thought or reforming it into a message that would be of use to the readers while leaving the information there in one form or another.
Of course, maybe it is that you have a different agenda.

Hi! I must respectfully disagree with the re-addition of Loeb and Drenth to the list of notable people, even with the addition of more referencing.
WP:NLIST is fairly clear that lists of notable people in other articles must include only those who meet WP:N. They are not for listing of individuals that are important locally.
Loeb could possibly be found notable, as a Sears executive and father of a murderer, but that has not been shown. I would argue that the possibility of his notability is fairly slim, just due to the fact that he has some fame and no-one has bothered to create an article on him yet. The emphasis being shown in his entry on this list is his role as the builder of Castle Farms. It would be appropriate to expand the prose on Castle Farms in the article and mention him there, but I do not see enough notability to include him in the notable list.
Drenth definitely does not meet WP:ATHLETE. Finishing 30th in a world race and attending the Olympic Trials are not enough to reach that. This is not to diminish the tragedy of his early death or his potential for accomplishments that were never fulfilled because of it. May I suggest that adding his memorial race to the listing of special events and mentioning briefly why it is a memorial race might be a better way to put his name in this article?
Also, if you have any interest, please see the section that follows. Gtwfan52 ( talk) 20:27, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
This is a pretty good article. It needs some more referencing and the layout is kinda weird, but editorially, it is a nice piece of work. There is, however a large potential to make it even better.
Charlevoix is a very interesting city, with loads of things to write about. Castle Farms was a pretty big rock and roll venue in the 70's, Big Rock was a historic powerplant installation, the smurf houses (no disrespect intended) are interesting. There is much more that can be written about tourism, the Hemmingway connection and numerous other topics. I have never done an article improvement with the idea of shooting for GA or FA, but I think the potential is here on this one. Anyone want to join in and help? To the user who keeps changing the mayor listing: if Norman (Boogie) Carlson is no longer mayor, please provide a source (preferably local newspaper or city website) that says so. Do not simply change it repeatedly. Chris857 ( talk) 13:48, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
